Privacy policy

This policy explains how GB Studio (Gestion Balado Studio) collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal information when you visit gbstudio.ca or contact us. We comply with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) as well as the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Information we collect

We collect only the information that is necessary:

  • Information you provide to us: when you fill out our contact form (first name, last name, email, phone, organization name and the content of your message).
  • Technical information: if you consent to analytics cookies, anonymized browsing data (pages viewed, device type, referral source).

Purposes of use

  • Respond to your requests and provide you with a quote or a service;
  • Follow up on the business relationship;
  • Improve the site and measure its audience, only with your consent;
  • Meet our legal obligations.

Consent

We obtain your consent before collecting your information. Analytics and marketing cookies are off by default and are only activated if you accept them. You may withdraw your consent at any time.

Disclosure to third parties

We do not sell or rent your information. We disclose it only to the service providers strictly necessary to operate the site and process your requests (for example our host and our email delivery service). These providers are required to protect your information.

Hosting and place of processing

Your information is hosted in Canada. We favour Canadian providers in order to ensure the sovereignty of your data. Should any processing take place outside Quebec, we would first carry out a privacy impact assessment, in accordance with Law 25.

Retention period

We keep your information for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, then destroy or anonymize it securely.

Your rights

You have the right:

  • to access your information and obtain a copy of it;
  • to request its rectification;
  • to withdraw your consent;
  • to request that its dissemination cease or that it be de-indexed, in the cases provided for by law.

Security

We put reasonable security measures in place (encryption of exchanges, restricted access) to protect your information against loss, theft and unauthorized access.
